Our History. Slow Burn Theatre Company was born in August, 2009 by director-choreographer Patrick Fitzwater and actor Matthew Korinko. We noticed a theatrical void in South Florida and made the commitment to do what we could to fill it. Our goal was to produce contemporary, challenging, modern musicals that few, if any, theaters would attempt.
