King is an excellent and entertaining writer, but he definitely seems content to let just about anyone make any kind of adaptation of his books, then usually offers a glowing review. I get why, since he would look like a jerk to crap on a movie that has his name on it. There are way more bad King adaptations than good one unfortunately.

Yea it's one of the issues that comes with the should have won Best picture comments. The win comes with a lot more scrutiny and a lot of films that win don't survive it even if they're legit great film (see king's speech and to some extent Moonlight).
I (20F) honestly kind of hate people. Venting. I know what you're thinking I'm young so I have time, and I'm a girl so I have it easier but it's really not. I'm desired but not for who I am but for what I have and I kind of hate people. Everyone annoys me no one garners my attention.
