Sophia Jagiellon of Poland (Polish: Zofia Jagiellonka; 13 July 1522 – 28 May 1575), a member of the Jagiellonian dynasty, was a Polish princess and Duchess of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel from 1556 to 1568 by her marriage with Duke Henry V.

The artist was a naïve successor to the tradition of German court portraiture established by Lucas Cranach the Elder (1472-1553) at the court of the Elector of Saxony at Wittenberg. Sophia, daughter of Henry III, Duke of Mecklenburg, married in 1528, Ernest I, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg.
She died on 28 May 1575 at Schöningen. She was buried in the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Wolfenbüttel. Sophia Jagiellon of Poland was a Polish Lithuanian Princess and Duchess of Brunswick-Lüneburg.
