Oct 19, 2020 · South Central Newfoundland Rescue. The SCNewf Rescue area covers Indiana, northern KY, and Western OH. As a courtesy to NCA Rescue, they also handle many dogs in MI, eastern OH, and a portion of western PA. SCNRescue has already placed 59 Newfoundlands in 2020, which is about twenty more than their yearly average.
Our organization covers the multi-state territory defined as being within a 200 mile radius of Columbus Indiana. We will accept any pure bred Newfoundland regardless of age or physical condition. This is what Rescue does, it handles the dogs that someone can no longer handle themselves. Or the ones that have found themselves in a place that they need help getting out of like a shelter. Rescue is akin to the repair person you call, you expect them to be there as soon as they can.
