She has received four Dove awards for “Best Female Vocalist" and was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame with The Speer Family in 1998, and now, individually into the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2023.

(December 28, 2021) – After months of seeking God’s direction, the Southern Gospel Music Association is excited to announce an agreement with Biblical Times Theater to house the SGMA Hall of Fame & Museum on their premises located at 2391 Parkway in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
The Hall of Fame is composed of pioneers in the field of Southern gospel music; members are selected by the SGMA annually, and are honored by a descriptive plaque and portrait in the Hall itself. The Museum contains thousands of items of memorabilia and a gift shop.
History. The Southern Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame was founded in 1997. The first class of inductees consisted of 38 of the legendary figures in Southern Gospel music including singers, musicians, songwriters, and music publishers. That inaugural class was by far the largest class of inductees up to the present time.
