Southern Sámi (Åarjelsaemien gïele) Southern Sámi is a variety of Western Sámi spoken in parts of Norway and Sweden. In Norway it is spoken mainly in Hedmark and Nord-Trøndelag counties in the municipalities of Snåsa, Røyrvik, Røros and Hattfjelldal.
