On ios, and more specifically I'll talk about MacBook, you can go into system settings --> Accessibility --> Spoken Content --> System Voice --> Manage Voices --> Scroll until you see Siri voices for the accent of your choice. this is so helpful! thank you. really glad i found this before i spent a bag on speechify.
