Staff Sergeant Tyler Edward Pickett, 28, was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, New York. He served during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Pickett was killed June 8 in Iraq’s Kirkuk Province when his unit was attacked by a suicide bomber.
