The Cardinals also became the first team in almost 100 years to win a World Series Championship in the inaugural season of a new ballpark.

Stadium is three blocks on right side. From I-70 East (St. Charles/Wentzville/Columbia/Kansas City) Take I-70 E toward St. Louis. Take the Convention Center/Broadway/Busch Stadium exit, Exit 249C. Merge onto N Broadway. Take right at Clark St. Check out the best way to get to Busch Stadium.
Busch Stadium (Grand Avenue) Years: 1953-1965. After Anheuser-Busch, Inc. bought, the Cardinals in 1953, Sportsman's Park was renamed Busch Stadium. The Cardinals closed the stadium on May 8, 1966 with a 10-5 loss to the San Francisco Giants.
