Sadly, it was recently demolished to make way for a modern house.

    GOD inspired the parishioners of St. Mary Church to begin a Roman Catholic School in Alexandria in 1867. With an enrollment of 70 pupils, Andrew Maschinot conducted the school in a room adjoining the church.
