Located right in the heart of Vienna's city centre, not far from the cathedral, Peterskirche is a magnificent Baroque building inspired by St Peter's Basilica in Rome. St. Peter’s Church (Peterskirche) is the most elaborate and beautiful baroque church in Vienna. The current structure, designed by Gabriel Montani, was built between 1702 and 1732. The history of the ancient Christian site goes all the way back to the 4th century!
