According to St. Xavier, tuition is $1,000 less than the cost of educating a student there. During the 2022–23 school year, more than 58% of students received financial aid. In 2020, students received $4.6 million in financial aid. St. Xavier accepts school vouchers from the Ohio Educational Choice Scholarship Program (EdChoice).
