Lu Yin (陆隐) is the main protagonist of Star Odyssey who had started his cultivation journey on a post-apocalyptic Earth with a semi-amnesiac memory.
“Lu” is one of the few Primeval Surnames which have been viewed antagonistically by the Human Domain. It is generally unknown why or when it had begun, but at some point, the universe had started to view those with the surname with hostile. After many eons, those with such surnames had either hide their names, or gained legal statuses through other means, such as being born a native within native planets, one such location is Earth.
It began few years ago before Lu Yin arrived on Earth, when someone had reported that an organization had been voluntarily sheltering a group with primeval surnames. The group escaped towards the Outerverse but is eventually captured, and trialed. With a part of the group captured; seventy two people had been prosecuted during the course of these events. Such matters would not have had much impact or much records due to the insignificant these events have happened across the universe, but just so happens Lu Yin is related to such events. With a mission, and a will to become stronger, he headed from Earth as a stepping s the Great Yu Empire, where it became the platform towards his growth in cultivation.
Lu Yin was an ambitious but rational minded person who use all the resources and connections around him to his advantage. Carrying the burden of recovering his memories, determined to becoming stronger, Lu Yin cultivated to catch up with the current generation's top youth, the Ten Arbiters who were the newest generation of youth who surpass all previous generations of youth with the help of the formcast model and support of the Hall of Honor.
Lu Yin was a money grub as those around him and know of him, understood his need for all the money which would make him happy, even though they don't know what the money was used for.
Lu Yin was primarily focused on just his own cultivation progress by joining one of the most elite school in the universe known as the Astral Combat Academy who were holding trials in the Outerverse. Lu Yin made many friends and allies along the way, he wasn't as interested in power or status. Due being at the wrong place at the wrong time, Lu Yin was severely injured, and tossed into Driftcharge Planet as white meat to be cannibalized resulting him almost dying there; while a member from the Daynight clan had been escorted out safely due to their status. After surviving such incident, he resolved himself to get many layers of identity as protection, while using such identities to further focus on becoming stronger. Lu Yin no longer wants to be an ant, who could be sacrificed; he wants to be the chess player not a chess piece in the those of power's board game. Something change within him, and he vowed to himself:
After such experience, he became more decisive, ruthless, sly, and had the talent to do anything to achieve his goals. Lu Yin won't mind blood being shredded against those who he deems as enemies, even initiating wars to progress his plans. Lu Yin never lets go of any opportunity he could find, and he knows how to make use of everything around him.
Lu Yin initially had no plans towards the Great Yu Empire other than the fact that he faked being the descendants of the Undying Zishan to legitimate his illegal surname. After the experience at Driftcharge Planet, with the Great Yu Empire losing the Undying Yushan, Lu Yin put on the Ring of Authority that allowed him to have the privilege to be a successor to the Great Yu Empire; it was the turning point of which Lu Yin began to gain more status and more power, furthering his ambition.
He ordered the Huo family and the Auna family that supports him to eliminate the distant relatives that were vying for the throne, and planted a seed of war into the Ross Empire that he could exploit in the future when the Great Yu Empire was stronger, showing his vision to plan ahead. Lu Yin also makes use of those around him that have caused him to be in a disadvantage position as this was shown when Lu Yin stopped Xueshan Auna from removing Jenny from the family book since it wouldn't help save his reputation. Instead, he makes Xueshan Auna into write a certificate that the Auna family does not agree to their wedding, allowing Lu Yin to have a reason to stop the wedding as well as binding the Auna family to the Great Yu Empire.
Seven Heroes
His nickname when he wants others to refer to him is "Seven." At first, he didn't know the reason why he preferred to be called the Seventh Brother, but he felt like it was the correct thing. On chapter 861 in a flashback memory; in the past when Lu Yin was a small child, there was a Big Sis Lu, and a Second Brother Lu, while Lu Yin was the third in the Lu family. When Lu Yin was getting bullied, their group of six protected Lu Yin, which the group got punished by their elders. The seven of them banded together to became sworn siblings, with being Lu Yin the youngest, Lu Yin was designated the Seventh Brother of the group. The group was known as the Seven Heroes and was strong enough to even comparable to the Nine Mountain and Eight Seas when it came to their potential and their cultivation strength.
Exile of the Lu Family
The Lu Family controlled the Higher Realm and were the rulers of the Perennial World. The secondary organizations and factions under the Lu Family of the Perennial World consisting of the Celestial Frost Sect, Wang Family, Shenwu's Sky, and the White Dragon Clan had plotted the exile of the Lu Family during a celebratory occasion. During the festival in which all of the Lu family members gathered, the four ruling powers caused the White Dragon Rolls Over, pushing the entire Lu family towards the monsters, exiling them from the Perennial World. Lu Xiaoxuan was able to somehow escaped from the Perennial World with his memory, and cultivation lost, and he had regressed in terms of age, and fell into the Fifth Mainland. There were many hints of the Perennial World, revealed during Lu Yin's attempt at the Stargazing Platform, someone who targeted Lu Yin with a cold gaze. A jade finger tore beyond the skies, causing Lu Yin to be filled with limited wrath, but when he opened his eyes, everything had returned to normal. This dream finger attack was from the Perennial World's Celestial Frost Sect, and the finger battle technique was the signature move of the Celestial Being Shows the Way.
Appearance in the Cosmic Sea, Leon's Armada
After the events of the Perennial World which replaced the Lu Family, Lu Yin had lost his memories as Lu Xiaoxuan, and fell into the Fifth Mainland injured into the Cosmic Sea. The Highsage Leon patrolled the Cosmic Sea and Lu Yin was found within adrift in the Cosmic Sea. Lu Yin's injuries were cured by the Ghost Doc and Big Sis taken care of Lu Yin. After being nurtured and accepted by the Leon's Armada, Big Sis had a fight with Leon Armada and her crew had left. During their journey out of the Cosmic Sea, they had been ambushed and attacked by the Ignition Crew, a delay leaving the Innerverse. The Ten Arbiters Council had tried all those with the surname “Lu” allowing seventy two people had perished during the course of these events.
Lu Xiaoxuan was the direct descendant of the Lu family, and the previous life of Lu Yin.
As the direct descendant of the Lu family, he was well loved and well protected by those around him, with Lu Xiaoxuan being a part of the Seven Heroes and had potential to be compared to the Nine Mountains and Eight Seas. He’s a cheerful person who likes to make friends, enjoy delicious food, and is always open and sincere with everyone. Lu Xiaoxuan of the past was an open-minded and righteous individual who fought against any injustices he found. He saved many people and took down many evil people.
Compared to Lu Yin at the same age, Lu Xiaoxuan followed the orthodox methods of the Lu family and trained in their techniques from childhood, progressing step by step while maintaining a firm foundation. Although he did use the Champions’ Stage and mastered all of the Lu family’s unique techniques, he never abandoned his attempts to create his own battle techniques. Finally, one day, he created Flipping the Sky, shocking the entire Perennial World and causing Progenitor Lu to show himself. The entirety of the Perennial World was brought together by this achievement, precisely because of how shocking it was.
Lu Xiaoxuan accomplished an unprecedented feat, as his technique was profound enough to be added to the Lu family’s collection of unique techniques for those beneath the Envoy realm. This was something that no one has ever managed to do in the past. Lu Xiaoxuan became a paragon that represented the pinnacle that could be reached within any given realm.
