The longest (24 minutes) featurette, "The Birth of a Timeless Legacy," examines the two pilot episodes and the development of the crew.
The season was released on DVD and Blu-ray by Paramount Home Entertainment. There is earlier version and a remastered version. There was DVD set release in 2004, and later a remastered version was also released on DVD, which featured some updated special effects in some scenes as well as re-processed color, etc. [3]

Nov 18, 2004 · On this Season 2 box set we find all 26 episodes of the 1967 season spread across seven discs, each of which carries a nice label print, just like the previous set. Holding four episodes per disc, the presentation is very good, allowing enough headroom for quality compression of the material free of artifacts.
