    Internships at the NCSCL are unpaid, and interns are required to provide their own housing and transportation.
    Interns are required to work a minimum of 20 hours/week during the normal operating hours of the laboratory (8:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Friday).
    Interns are placed in all three laboratories.  However, all disciplines are not available in every laboratory.  Available disciplines are as follows:

    Candidates applying for an internship with the NCSCL must: 1. Be at least a rising junior in, or graduate of, a four-year degree program 2. Be majoring in a natural science (e.g., chemistry, biology, forensic science) or a computer-related field. 3. Successfully pass a background check
