Crown tickets allow visitors to access the crown of the statue, which includes a walk up 162 steps from the feet of the statue to the crown. There is no elevator access to the crown. Nov 12, 2022 · We are open every day between the hours of 8:30AM-5PM. The last ferry departing from New York City and from Liberty State Park in New Jersey is at 3:30PM. We are closed on the holidays of Thanksgiving Day and on Christmas Day; December 25th. Hours are extended during the summer season, and shortened during the winter season.
