New York City park forager. Website. http://www.wildmanstevebrill.com/. Steve "Wildman" Brill (born March 10, 1949) [1] is an American forager, naturalist, environmental educator and author. He gained notoriety in 1986, when he was arrested in New York City 's Central Park for eating a dandelion.

On March 29, 1986, wildman was arrested and handcuffed by undercover nyc park rangers for eating a dandelion in Central Park, creating a national media storm, and resulting in the NYC Parks Dept. negotiating with Brill, dropping the charges, and hiring him to lead foraging tours, after it had been determined that the Wildman had eaten the evidence!
