Jasper has tangerine skin with reddish-orange markings on her face and arms. She has amber eyes and plump lips. Her gemstone is located where a normal nose would be. She has thick, beige-white-colored flowing hair. Physique-wise, she is the archetype Quartz Gem soldier; she has a muscular body and stands both taller and wider than Garnet, an indication of her immense strength and durability.
Her attitude towards those whom she considers having proven themselves in battle, however, is a much more positive and respectful one. When she first arrives on Earth, she quickly dismisses Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl as weaklings not worth her time. She did, however, express disappointment after finding out that Rose Quartz was not present because she wants to face her in battle, as she respects her as the military commander of the Crystal Gems. Likewise, this causes her to be confused and fr...
All Era-1 Gems have various powers, including the ability to invoke a weapon, change shape, and strength, agility, speed, and skill beyond human capabilities. Jasper can also take refuge in her gemstone after being wounded to heal. She is also capable of fusion, as shown when she fuses with Lapis Lazuli to form Malachite and later a Corrupted Gem to form a centaur-like monstrosity.Being a Quartz Gem, her creation was to fit the role of a soldier within Gem culture. According to Peridot (a cer...
Jasper holds a strong animosity towards Rose, due to her being the one who shattered Pink Diamond. She accepted the mission to escort Peridot on Earth because she was looking forward to beating Rose \\"into the ground\\" in order to avenge her Diamond. Despite this, Jasper expresses a great deal of respect towards Rose for her role as the military commander of the war, although she does harbor disgust towards Rose's love for the Earth and will to fight for the planet. 1. According to Rebecca Sugar in Steven Universe: Art and Origins, Jasper has a fantastic reputation and is regarded as one of the best Quartzes produced on Earth. 1. She is described by her as a highly \\"decorated Gem from humble origins\\" in Homeworld. 2. Jasper had a yellow diamond on her uniform, just like Peridot. 1. It is later revealed that she actively served one of The Great Diamond Authority's members, Yellow Diamond, prior to being corrupted. 2. She formerly served Pink Diamond. 3....

Jasper is a muscular tangerine orange and red-striped Gem with a dark brown and red Homeworld suit with a yellow diamond uniform, a reference to her leader.Similar to Amethyst, she has long beige spiky hair. She has her gemstone embedded on her nose, which can summon a crash helmet that she can use to charge at foes. After her corruption Jasper transforms into a spike-ridden, dog-like creature that is forced to be incapacitaded by Peridot.
By all accounts, Jasper is a sympathetic yet brutish character. She is known to be the ruthless, brutal, and cruel general of the Homeworldian Gems, and has a merciless, abusive, wrathful, and temperamental demeanor, as she is known to lash out at anyone; for example, Sapphire, just for singing, she smashed the wall with her fist and screamed at her to stop. She also has a Darwinistic view on life, which morphs into complete arrogance and hatred, as she outright hates and looks down upon the...
Jasper was made sometime during the middle of the rebellion where she was made and birthed from the Beta Kindergarten. She came out as the ultimate quartz soldier and would lead the Homeworld Gems in battle against the rebellious Crystal Gems. She had also previously served under Pink Diamond and was loyal to her, but Rose Quartz had seemingly shattered her and Jasper had been mentally scarred as a result.Following the end of the war, Jasper and the remaining Homeworld forces withdrew from Ea...
1. Jasper is the third Homeworld Gem introduced in the series, with the first being Lapis and the second being Peridot. 1. She is also the second largest non-fusion Gem introduced in the series, after Rose Quartz. 2. Jasper gemstones often represent protection, nurturing, relaxation, and so on. This is ironic due to Jasper's cruel and aggressive behavior. 3. Jasper is currently the only known Gem to have a gemstone on her nose. 4. Jasper's weapon is a charging helmet, similar to the hairstyl...
After being accidentally shattered by Steven and subsequently revived, Jasper acknowledges his incredible power and pledges her loyalty to him, calling Steven her Diamond, and defending him in "Homeworld Bound" when Pearl angrily asks him where he had been during the events of the episode "Fragments".

Jasper was created in the Beta Kindergarten for the sole purpose of fighting against the Crystal Gems halfway through the Rebellion. She is said to have popped out of the ground with her helmet already on her head, and took out eighty Crystal Gems that day.

Skinny has moderately light orange skin with scarlet markings. Her eyes are yellow with black pupils, has feathery black eyebrows, and resembles her perfect "sister" Jasperin this manner. Unlike the other members of the Famethyst, her top does not cover her entire torso, fitting her like a short tank top, leaving the majority of her torso bare. Her blue uniform has a Blue Diamond insignia.
Like the Crystal Gems' Amethyst, Skinny has an easygoing personality. Skinny has a sharp and sarcastic sense of humor, joking that the Amethysts are "cliquey" and constantly talk about the Prime Kindergarten with the other members of the Famethyst. Skinny dislikes her commander Holly Blue Agate, who frequently abuses the Quartzes both physically and mentally (disdainfully referring to Skinny and Carnelianas "hideous off-color Betas"). Because of their distaste for Holly Blue Agate, Skinny and the other Quartzes assist in helping Steven and Greg escape from the Zoo. When Holly Blue Agate is being humiliated by the Crystal Gems, Skinny mocks her and disobeys her orders to attack the Crystal Gems.
Skinny was created on Earth in the Beta Kindergarten during the Gem Homeworld's control of the planet. She was presumably created for Pink Diamond (like the other Quartzes created on Earth), but after Pink Diamond was allegedly shattered, they were reassigned to Blue Diamond and sent to Pink Diamond's Zoo in order to maintain and protect the facility, under Holly Blue Agate's command.
Skinny is a member of the group of Quartz guards nicknamed the "Famethyst". Both defective Gems from the Beta Kindergarten, Skinny seems to have an especially close friendship with Carnelian. Unlike other Homeworld Gems, the other Quartzes are kind to defective Gems like Skinny and Carnelian. Skinny jokes that the Amethysts are "cliquey" and constantly talk about the Prime Kindergarten. When Amethyst asks where Carnelian is, Skinny says that she’s off celebrating no longer being the shortest.
Skinny and the members of the Famethyst quickly become friends with Amethyst, who they consider part of their group. All made on Earth, the Quartzes have a playful, 'sisterly' relationship with Amethyst. Skinny and Amethyst are both defective Quartzes.
Skinny and the Famethyst are quite friendly to the Crystal Gems, happily waving goodbye after helping them escape Homeworld. Also being pictured together in Steven Universe: The Movie, it can be assumed that the Crystal Gems and Skinny have met since the events of "That Will Be All" and remain on good terms.
A Quartz whose Beta Kindergarten hole is malformed and described as "skinny" is briefly alluded to by Amethyst in "Beta", presumably referencing this defective Jasper.

Biggs Jasper, while corrupted, was a giant wolf-like creature with three horns. She had a mixture of brown-orange colors, with designs similar to that of a real Biggs Jasper gemstone. In "Earthlings", Jasper believed the Snow Monster to be a Quartz Gem like herself, implying that the Orange Great North Monster was too. Her gemstone type was confirmed in "Made of Honor" by Bismuth.
In her uncorrupted form, Biggs appears to be wearing a tank top, similar to the one from Amethyst's previous form. Biggs also still has three small spikes on her forehead. Much like most of the uncorrupted quartzes, she lacks a nose and seemingly lacks eyes.
In "Made of Honor", Bismuth says she was beloved by everyone.
Like all Corrupted Gems, Biggs has no memory of her former self, as shown when she attacks Bismuth in "Made of Honor" without hesitation.
Thousands of Years Ago
During the Rebellion, Biggs defected from Homeworld and became a member of the Crystal Gems. She fought in the war until its very end, when the Diamonds unleashed the Corrupting Light. Biggs was unable to escape the blast and became corrupted when exposed to the light.
Biggs and the Snow Monster are shown roaming the Great Northand trying to evade Jasper. She is eventually found, poofed, and taken prisoner by Jasper alongside the other monster.
"Crack the Whip"
Biggs and the Snow Monster are used by Jasper in an attempt to attack the Crystal Gems. She initially attempts to attack Steven and Connie, but Amethyst restrains her before she can reach them and poofs her. Steven bubbles her gemstone and warps it to the Burning Room.
Biggs Jasper, as a member of the Crystal Gems before being corrupted, was friends with Bismuth. Once Bismuth is first freed from her bubble (5,000 years after being poofed and having missed the rest of the War), Bismuth asks about the whereabouts of some of her closest Crystal Gem friends, including "Biggs". Later, in "Made of Honor", Bismuth mentions that "Biggs was beloved by everyone." Bismuth frees Biggs from her bubble, only to find out that Biggs has become corrupted. Biggs Jasper, now...Biggs is the second corrupted Gem to have their name/Gem type revealed within the series (unlike Watermelon Tourmaline, whose name was only revealed by Ian Jones-Quartey on Tumblr, and unlike Lace...Although she is a biggs jasper, the circular styles on this Gem's gemstone somewhat resemble the appearance of real-life Bruneau jasper.Biggs' gemstones changed radically from her appearances, both in shape and color. This is for unknown reasons.

She wore a sleeveless bodysuit, similar to Peridot's, with a dark mahogany V-neck collar and a yellow diamond in the center. The torso of the bodysuit is maroon, and the legs are dark mahogany. She wore red boots with dark red toe caps.
After her Corruption, she became similar in body type to the wolf-like Snow Monster she fused with, gaining teal spikes across her body, losing her eyes, and gaining two ram-like horns on the side of her head. Spikes protrude from multiple areas of her body, and she appears to have beige-colored mane/tuft of hair growing around her neck. Blotches of green and orange make up her skin, and her teeth became sharp and orange.
After getting healed from her corruption by Steven and the Diamondsin "Change Your Mind", she still wears a sleeveless bodysuit, however, the torso now has a different design. She now wears a brown tank top with an apricot trapezoid between and in the center of it is a brown keyhole shape, which contains a small apricot trapezoid through it. Her boots are also apricot and brown like her tank top. She also keeps the teal-colored markings and horns from her corruption.
Jasper is ruthless and headstrong, as well as a brutal combatant. Assumed to be a high-ranking Gem warrior and veteran of the Rebellion, Jasper is very authoritative and militaristic which directly affects her subordinates, Peridot and Lapis Lazuli. She doesn't care about them, doesn't bother to heed their warnings or concerns, and will not hesitate to browbeat them into submission if they complain or disagree with her. The prejudice that Jasper exercises based on combat experience leads her to look down upon beings that appear weaker to her. She despises the act of fusion especially, as seen when she announced, "Fusion is just a cheap tactic to make weak Gems stronger!" Even after Garnet defeated her and crashed the Gem Warship, she didn't consider it a loss, turning back on the previous reasoning and believing that Garnet only bested her due to being a fusion. Her attitude towards those whom she considers having proven themselves in battle, however, is a much more positive and res...
All Gems have various powers, including the ability to invoke a weapon, change shape, and strength, agility, speed, and skill beyond human capabilities. They can also take refuge in their gems after being wounded to heal. She is also capable of fusion, as shown when she fused with Lapis Lazuli to form Malachite. Being a Quartz Gem, she was created to fit the role of a warrior within Gem culture. As such, she has incredible amounts of physical strength and stamina, making her one of the most physically imposing Gem seen thus far. She is also strong of will, as it is currently taking all of Lapis's concentration to subdue Jasper.
Rose Quartz/Steven Universe
Jasper holds some animosity towards Rose, as Jasper was present and fought for the loyalist Gem forces during The Rebellion on Earth. She was looking forward to "beating her into the ground" upon arriving on Earth. Despite this, Jasper expresses a great deal of respect towards Rose for her role as the military commander of the war, although she does harbor disgust towards Rose's love for the Earth and will to fight for the planet. Jasper believes that Steven is Rose, and treats him as such. I...
In "Super Watermelon Island" she takes control of Malachite in order to 'have some fun' and destroy the Crystal Gems, who have fused as Alexandrite. During the fight, she does thank the Crystal Gems for proving her previous opinion wrong and showing that fusion is not a cheap trick. In order to 'thank' them, she attempts to unfuse Alexandrite by squeezing her with hands created by water and freezing it, as she sees as though there is room for only 'one abomination.
Jasper and Peridot seem to hold some type of tension between each other. Most of this seems to stem from the fact that Jasper was put in charge of escorting Peridot, as the Crystal Gems repeatedly hindered Peridot's efforts, forcing Peridot to report to her superior(s) and ask for additional help in the matter. Jasper pays little attention to Peridot's grievances and complaints, possibly as a result of Jasper looking down on Peridot, who is more of an intellectual/technician than a warrior. P...

It is a planetary stone for Mars and is associated with the element of fire, as well as being a secondary birthstone of March.Jasper often represents protection, nurturing, relaxation, and so on.Jasper is a variety of quartz with a chemical composition composed primarily of silicon dioxide.Jasper comes in all colors, mostly striped, spotted or flamed.
Zebra Jasper is tall and broad-shouldered, like most other Quartzes. She has a single horn located on her forehead. She has a white complexion with gray stripes and long, teal colored hair. She wears a black turtleneck, a pair of grey leggings and a pair of black boots. Her gemstone is located on her chest. Much like most of the uncorrupted quartzes, she lacks a nose and seemingly lacks eyes.
"Change Your Mind"
Zebra Jasper is one of the many Corrupted Gems that are healed.
Zebra Jasper appears as a background character in Little Homeworld.
Zebra Jasper is seen walking along with Harold Smiley at the Funland. She, along with Ocean Jasper, is put to work at Fish Stew Pizzaby Steven. Zebra Jasper cuts the pizzas, but she does a messy job, reducing them to mush. She does not appear to notice this, however.
Due to Zebra Jasper sharing her name with the fusion of Jasper and Ocean Jasper, she is one of five single Gems to share their name or Gem type name with a fusion. The other two are Snowflake Obsid...
