was a syndicated edition of Double Dare that aired on most FOX owned and operated stations, as well as many independent stations in the United States. This version was the first to use larger obstacles and physical challenges, and upped the amount of mess exponentially. 100 episodes were filmed at both WHYY Philadelphia and Universal Studios Florida (prior to the opening of Nickelodeon Studios).

While the series was sold into syndication as one season (as an extension of the Double Dare syndication package), fans have separated this into two seasons based on the Philadelphia and Orlando tapings. The easiest way to discern which is which is that the clock displays "00" when not in use in Philly, whereas in Orlando, the clock rotates, as it did on Fox Family Double Dare. Philly-based episodes had red and blue lights behind Marc's podium while episodes from Orlando had green or orange lights; although at least one Orlando episode ("Super Sloppy Slimey Suckers vs. Toasted Crackers") had the red and blue lights.

    Season 1 (1989, Philadelphia)

This production order is approximate, and is based on these factors: The obstacle course layout, general cosmetic changes, Marc's comments on episodes from early in the production cycle, etc. The exact order is unknown. What is known is that after Super Slop-O-Mania II, the parting gifts for after the main game and obstacle course were reduced from 3 and 3 to 2 and 1 respectively. Early tapings with 3 and 3 redubbed the parting gifts in some episodes to 2 and 1.

Season 2 (1989, Universal Studios Florida)

This production order is approximate, and is based on these factors: The obstacle course layout, general cosmetic changes, Marc's comments on episodes from early in the production cycle, etc. The exact order is unknown. What is known is that during the second half of this season, Marc was no longer doing the running gag of stating the wrong Florida location they were now in. There are believed to be 7 episodes of Super Sloppy Double Dare missing. One of them, an episode from Season 2, features The Dynamite Duo, Tim Stockton and Amy Alston, students at Denn John Middle School. According to the Oseola News-Gazette, the team won $260 in cash, VCRs, Nintendos, and electric guitars.
