The Moana Hotel is a historic hotel building in Honolulu, Hawaii, located at 2365 Kalākaua Avenue in the Waikiki neighborhood. Built in the late 19th century as the first hotel in Waikiki, the Moana opened in 1901. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

It is known as the “First Lady of Waikiki.” In the late 1890s, Waikiki was a swampy backwater area surrounded by duck ponds and taro fields.
Centrally located in the heart of Waikiki, the Moana Surfrider stands radiant as the only beachfront Oahu hotel that has its Porte Cochere on Kalakaua Avenue. Choose from three charming wings. The Tower Wing is a high-rise tower with 21 floors soaring high above Waikiki Beach; each Tower guest room is a modern, spacious room.

On the opposite side of the Moana, perpendicular to the shoreline, rises the newer Surfrider, a 21-story tower that offers the most spectacular panoramic views of the whole resort. Today it is known as the "Tower Wing", and it accommodates the most luxurious suites and penthouses in its top stories.
