To be eligible to apply for the Susan T. Buffett Scholarship, you must: Live in Nebraska and meet in-state residency requirements of the college you plan to attend. DACA, undocumented, or DACA eligible students are still eligible to apply. Graduate from a Nebraska high school or earn a Nebraska GED.

Scholarship Expectations. As a Susan T. Buffett Scholar, you must: enroll in at least 9 credits per term; obtain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA at the end of all terms; earn at least 1 credit hour each term; and; earn at least 18 credit hours or 27 quarter hours by the end of each academic year (August to July)
To be considered for a Susan T. Buffett Scholarship, you must: Complete the 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) *; Receive your 2023-2024 Student Aid Report (SAR); and. Upload your 2023-2024 SAR to your scholarship application.
Students who have the Buffett Scholarship are required to complete a request form in order to Study Abroad, place the scholarship On Hold, enroll in Less than 9 Hours, attend a Secondary College and/or Transfer to a different college. The request forms can be completed and submitted online.
