Susanna Hall (née Shakespeare; baptised 26 May 1583 – 11 July 1649) was the oldest child of William Shakespeare and Anne Hathaway and the older sister of twins Judith and Hamnet Shakespeare. Susanna married John Hall, a local physician, in 1607. They had one daughter, Elizabeth, in 1608.

Susanna Hall (nee Shakespeare) was the elder of Shakespeare’s two daughters. She was baptised on 26th May 1583 at Holy Trinity church in Stratford upon Avon and died on 11th July 1649. She married Dr John Hall in 1607. They had one child, Elizabeth. There are no descendants of William Shakespeare today.

Feb 29, 2020 · (Dr. Hall and Susanna inherited and moved into New Place after Shakespeare's death). Susanna gave birth to a baby girl eight months after her wedding to Dr. John Hall. Anne and William's granddaughter, Elizabeth, was baptized February 21, 1608 at Holy Trinity Church in Stratford.

Four seals are attached, with two of the tags signed by the existing trustees (Richard Lane and William Smith), and the other two by Susanna Hall and her daughter Elizabeth Nash. Susanna used a small signet seal depicting a bird of some sort but Elizabeth’s (probably borrowed) bears six escallops.
Susanna and John Hall were blessed with their only child, Elizabeth Hall, who was baptized on February 21, 1608. Since William Shakespeare's younger daughter, Judith Quiney, gave birth to her children after Shakespeare's death, Elizabeth was the only grandchild Shakespeare knew.
