It’s the song John Popper wrote for Tacoma FD, it airs on the Canadian version regularly. I think it’s also the theme for ‘Talkoma FD’ after-show in the states. I only get a chance to hear a little bit coming in and out of commercials, but I’d love to hear the full intro theme one day. That settles it.
It was released as a single in June 1978 and reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart that September. [2] The single was also certified Platinum (one million units sold) by the Recording Industry Association of America. It is also the theme song to the truTV scripted series Tacoma FD .

After hearing from Talkoma FD that John Popper made the intro version, but it wasn't used in USA because they were able to license Foreigner, I had to find out what it sounded like!
