Assault Suit Leynos, released in North America as Target Earth, is the first game in the series. It was released for the Sega Genesis. [1] One scene, where a comrade who doesn't make it back to the ship burns up in the atmosphere, was removed from the North American version.

Oct 27, 2016 · It is no exaggeration when I say that Target Earth might be one of the most difficult games ever. From the game’s opening moments the enemy attacks are relentless and never let up. The regenerating health mechanic means very little seeing as you will rarely find a safe spot to use it.
