AKA: Ted Wheeler. Theodore Wheeler was born in Iowa and received his high school diploma, Bachelor of Arts, and Master of Fine Arts in Nebraska. His connection to the Midwest led him to the subject of his first novel, Kings of Broken Things, which takes place during the Omaha Race Riot of 1919.
