Riding on the Teleférico. The Teleférico has eighty cabins, each with a maximum capacity of six people. The cable car runs between Parque Oeste, in central Madrid, and Casa de Campo, the capital’s largest park. The whole distance is 2.5 kilometres, taking eleven minutes to get from one station to the other.

Teleférico. One of the world’s most horizontal cable cars (it never hangs more than 40m above the ground), the Teleférico putters out from the slopes of Parque del Oeste. The 2.5km journey takes you into the depths of the Casa de Campo, Madrid’s enormous green open space west of the city centre.
Coordinates: 40.423896°N 3.735350°W. The Teleférico de Madrid, or Madrid Cable Car, is a gondola lift in the Spanish capital city of Madrid. It is 2,457 metres (8,061 ft) long and links the Parque del Oeste with the Casa de Campo. The line was built by Von Roll and opened in 1969.
