33 reviews of Teleférico de Madrid "A nice experience in Madrid offering aerial views of the city and the parks. It takes a good walk to get here or a cheap cab ride. The price isn't bad and you can find coupons in a lot of the booklets given out at hotels. The other side is worth a quick stop but not a long stay so get a round trip ticket."

After taking the teleferico ride up here, it is worth getting off just to walk around and look at the views. Eating here just adds some more downtime to your trip. We figured we walked a long way to get to the teleferico, we might as well soak in as much of the sights as we can. I would suggest just snacking and sitting down outside."
Additional Family options are available depending on numbers. Furthermore Tickets can be purchased as part of multi use tickets including entry to the Madrid Zoo and Theme Parks. Opening Hours: Summer season (1st week of April until 2nd weekend of Sept): Weekdays 1200-1400 & 1500-Nightfall; Weekends: 1200-Nightfall. Winter Season (rest of the year):
The hours are 9:00-14:00 and 15:00-18:00 Monday-Sunday and Holidays. Oddly these hours do not coinicide with the opening hours. So you'll need to download these from that link there. Good luck! What I suspect, is that if you stop by the Templo de Debod on the way and kick around there a bit and then head to the Teleferico by 10:00, you'll be all set.
