The Big Caper stars Rory Calhoun (you've seen him, he was a guest star in over 1000 TV shows and lots of Westerns), James Gregory (possibly the only one you'll know instantly), Mary Costa (who did almost nothing else and reminds me of Rhonda Fleming), Roxanne Arlen (who reminds me of a young Jean Hagen from The Asphalt Jungle ).
Obviously inspired by such films as The Asphalt Jungle and The Killing, The Big Caper takes place in a small town with a large bank. James Gregory plays the leader of a gang of thieves who intends to knock over the bank--but not without meticulous pre-planning.
