The restaurant began as a fine dining establishment, serving filet mignon and caviar as well as traditional Hungarian fare such as goulash.

Mar 11, 2020 · 1:18. Blue Danube, the shuttered Ohio State landmark, may get a revival, according to the Dispatch. The building’s new owner, Jay Harkrider, plans to reopen the iconic restaurant at 2439 N. High St. The city’s University Impact District Review Board recently signed off on Harkrider’s plans to restore the building, which you can view here.
