   • The Breakers went seamlessly from being a Vanderbilt summer home, to a house rented to the Preservation Society for a nominal fee to a house owned by the Preservation Society. It is in excellent physical condition, the furniture is original and wall and furniture coverings have been carefully copied or restored.
