Apr 10, 2024 · A franchise becoming more uniform over time. I'm not talking about Early-Installment Weirdness or Art Evolution. Not sure if it would be a normal trope or YMMV. A very good example would be Franchise/Transformers: it started with the classic Generatio 1, which ended in the US in 1990, and got a new sequel during The '90s with Generation 2, which was similar if more experimental.
