Feb 12, 2024 · The ending of “Now You See Me 2” reveals that Dylan Rhodes (played by Mark Ruffalo) is the mastermind behind the Horsemen’s elaborate schemes. He adopts the persona of Lionel Shrike, the deceased magician who inspired the Four Horsemen, to take revenge on those responsible for his father’s death.
Throughout the film, the Horsemen are recruited by the Eye to infiltrate the tech magnate Walter Mabry’s (played by Daniel Radcliffe) operation. In the climactic ending, the Eye reveals that Walter is one of their own and he had manipulated the events to test the Horsemen’s loyalty and abilities. 3. The Unexpected Betrayal
The scene with the safe in the first one was the rabbit trick. They put a mirror up so that it looked like the safe was gone when really it never disappeared. In the car chase scene, they switched cars to make it seem like Jack Wilder was killed.
