Jun 13, 2010 · #1 · Jun 13, 2010. Anyone actually know why The Getaway featured a High Standard K1200 18-7 Riot? My speculation is that they wanted an 18 inch with the extended magazine and this was one of the only choices other than a 69 RXL. This was on Youtube: Vote Responsibly. Jun 11, 2013 · Steve McQueen as "Doc" McCoy in Sam Peckinpah's 1972 heist classic The Getaway. A great film and one on my favorites of both Peckinpah & McQueen.
The film was directed by Sam Peckinpah, written by Walter Hill, and stars Steve McQueen, Ali MacGraw, Ben Johnson, Al Lettieri and Sally Struthers. The plot follows imprisoned mastermind robber Carter "Doc" McCoy, whose wife Carol conspires for his release on the condition they rob a bank in Texas .
