This is the fifth and last episode directed by Barry Crane
The opening scene is the same as the ending sequence of "Life And Death", "The Confession", "Babalao", and "Stop The Presses"
The episode has a similar plot to the season one episode "Final Round"
Paul Henry Itkin also appeared in "Final Round", as Mr. Sariego's assistant, which was similar in that the character was in connection with boxing and involved in drug dealing

  5. What doesn't help "Half Nelson" is the fact that it followed that great episode. The formula had reached it's peak and the episodes were getting a little too repetitive. As usual Bixby is good and so is Ferrigno and even the lesser Hulk episodes make for easy 45 plus minutes to watch but "Half Nelson" is one of weakest from this enjoyable series.

  6. Jack McGee goes into Buster Caldwell’s dressing room only to find David disguised as another wrestler.
