The movie is based on a true story and sends some mixed messages about corporate ethics; ethical breaches are treated somewhat lightly, which may make the crimes seem less serious. And the main character isn't exactly a role model himself.
Quirky and witty, 'The Informant!' is a great film. Mat Damon did a great job of portraying Mark Wittaker, a man high up in a corrupt corporation. He did a great job of portraying Wittaker as a man that thought he was a lot smarter and a lot nobler than he actually was.

Stunning as the events are, the movie managed to weave the story into the almost unbelievable romp in many ways that it was. The music score was absolutely perfect and the actors fantastic. It was possible to identify each and every individual in the movie with those in the book.
