The Messengers is an American supernatural mystery drama television series that aired on The CW during the 2014–15 season. The series was officially picked up on May 8, 2014, and premiered on April 17, 2015. The series was cancelled by the CW on May 7, 2015, but aired all of its episodes, and concluded on July 24, 2015.

It's one of the sneakiest surprises on the CW, but The 100turned out to be an underrated science fiction series, and one that's started to blow up on places like Tumblr and Twitter. Stream it here.

No show is stranger or more surprising than Wayward Pines. Not saying that's always a good thing, but it's probably the only thing out there that's pound for pound as weird as The Messengers. Jul 24, 2015 · What we’re saying here is that it had to be hard for the show to expect it to get a renewal for a second season, and it won’t. It was effectively canceled many weeks ago. For fans of the show, the only real gift is that it continued to air episodes until the finale.
