I will say I’m not an expert on this topic, I think I understand a good amount of it to somewhat explain it. The image on the left is MLK or Martin Luther King Jr. the biggest figure head of the Civil Rights Movement, a movement in 1960-1970 to give African Americans equal rights, as prior to this they were treat very unfairly in terms of stuff like education, employment, housing, etc.
