The State Cup brings together the highest quality teams in Ohio to decide who will be crowned the State Champion. It is also the official qualifying competition in Ohio for the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series (NCS), sending the champions to Midwest Regionals.
Teams apply and are ranked based upon State Cup, OSSL, GLC, Presidents Cup, and other OSA/USYS league results from the previous season. Teams who finish in the top 8 of O SA State Cup U11 9v9 division from the previous season are automatically accepted into OSSL U12 Premier I D ivision.
