Sure, the CGI lion looks funky and the practical one looks even worse, but Prey is still a great time because it's a Dick Maas flick. This is a guy who intrinsically knows what makes a movie entertaining.* It definitely leans more into comedy at times, but it's Maas’ signature dark humour, which is a plus.
