It stars Kate Winslet, Ralph Fiennes, and David Kross. It was the last film for producers Anthony Minghella and Sydney Pollack, both of whom died prior to its release.

THE READER isn’t the type of book that I normally read so it sat unread until I noticed that it was the oldest unread book in my Kindle library. Last week, I decided to read it.
