For example, I believe that when the revenant was trapping in the Southwest territory he may have been on the Gila River not the Helos river. I found it interesting that the book indicated that Glass trapped on the Columbia River in later life.

  3. Jun 10, 2021 · Punke does a great job of brining the historical characters, places, and events to life in a very entertaining way while still giving you a history lesson. Both with this book and The Revenant I could not put the book down. I plan to read more of Punke’s books and he has also inspired me to read and learn more about the history of our nation.
