The John G. Shedd Institute for the Arts (The Shedd) is a non-profit performing arts company, educational institute, and venue management company that serves Eugene, Oregon, Lane County, and all of Oregon with year-round professional performances, educational programs, and venue rental for non-profit organizations.
Principal performing arts venues include the Hult Center for the Performing Arts, The John G. Shedd Institute for the Arts ("The Shedd"), the McDonald Theatre, and W.O.W. Hall. The University of Oregon School of Music and Dance also attracts world class performers and teaching artists throughout the year, many of whom perform at Beall Concert Hall.
