Matthew Langford Perry (August 19, 1969 - October 28, 2023) was an American Canadian actor best known for his role as Chandler Bing on the NBC sitcom Friends, for which he earned a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in 2002. He also played Oscar Madison on the CBS sitcom The Odd Couple .
