   Is the ward a good movie?

   • I am a big fan of John Carpenter and "The Ward" is a good film that uses the idea of "Identity" in a mysterious story. This is not his best film, but it is entertaining. I did not guess what was happening until the very end and I liked the idea of multiple personalities of a traumatized teenager.

   • The Ward should send some chills down your spine, but it probably won't stay with you. The Ward, while not stellar by any means, is absolutely worth your time. The movie's fluidity of motion is intoxicating. It's hard to argue that the so-so material is up to [Carpenter's] highest standards, but it can also be easily forgiven, and even enjoyed.
