      • A better than average late Spaghetti, thanks largely to the presence of Garko and Boyd, some clever twists and a semi-serious tone. But the folks behind the film couldn’t resist adding some Trinity-style touches, and the result is a movie with a split personality. Some of the comic bits work.

  1. The movie has plenty of action, but lacks the operatic drama of the great revenge/showdown Eurowesterns. It's about 3 soldiers and a bounty hunter working together to bring down a large gang of Mexican outlaws headed by an insane fool who calls himself El Supremo.

  2. Those Dirty Dogs: Directed by Giuseppe Rosati. With Gianni Garko, Stephen Boyd, Howard Ross, Simón Andreu. Captain Chadwell, Lieutenant Junger and Sergeant Smith are sent by Washington to help their colleagues of Fort Apache to recover stolen arms.

  4. Dec 29, 2013 · Review. Opinions on this vary among Spaghetti Western fans. It's a comparatively late entry into the genre, which means it was made at a time when comedy/farce was the dominant force in the genre (and certainly in star Gianni Garko's career, with this being his last Spaghetti Western, I think).

  7. Review by Jeff Williams ★★★ Spaghetti western highlighted by a Koran quoting, exploding-shell-rifle toting, odd bounty hunter played by Gianni Garko. The film is a little uneven but certainly watchable and entertaining especially for a late-cycle entry.
