    Polarismoved 20 spots up the 2019 list, with revenues of $6.17 billion — an increase of 12 percent over 2018, according to Forbes. The company, headquartered in Medina, Minn., makes snowmobiles, motorcycles and off-road vehicles.

    Thrivent Financial for Lutheransdropped eight spots in the latest Forbes listing. It saw revenues of $8.64 billion, which is up 1.3 percent. The company, headquartered in Minneapolis, offers financial planning services.

    Hormel Foodsdropped five spots, with $9.55 billion in revenues, an increase of 4.1 percent. The food maker headquartered in Austin, Minn., has several brands under its umbrella, like SPAM, Skippy, Jennie-O and Applegate.

    Xcel Energydropped eight spots in the 2019 rankings after seeing revenues of $11.58 billion, an increase of 1.2 percent. The utility company provides electricity and natural gas in Minnesota and several other states.

    Ameriprise Financial, based in Minneapolis, saw revenues of $12.92 billion. That’s an increase of 7 percent and enough to boost the financial planning company up three spots on the list.

    Ecolabsaw no change in ranking in the 2019 list. The St. Paul-based company, which sells water, hygiene and energy technologies and services, saw revenues rise 6 percent to $14.67 billion.

    Land O’Lakes, the Arden Hills-based food company, moved up four places in this year’s list. The company posted revenues of $14.94 billion, an increase of 8.7 percent.

    Supervalufell 21 spots after posting revenues of $15.68 billion, a drop of 2.1 percent. The wholesaler and grocery store company, which was purchased in 2018 by United Natural Foods Inc., is based in Eden Prairie.

    General Millssaw itself fall 18 spots on the list. The Golden Valley-based food company that makes such brands as Haagen-Dazs, Cheerios, Pillsbury and many more, posted revenues of $15.74 billion — up 0.8 percent.

    C.H. Robinson Worldwidejumped 8 spots on the 2019 Forbes list. The Eden Prairie-based freight company saw revenues rise 11.8 percent to $16.63 billion.
