Wow. I've been an EWS fan for many years, and have never come across the film Traumnovelle - I thought there was only a short book/novella. Obviously Kubrick was aware of this film. The framing of shots is also suspect - it very well may be that Kubrick was intentionally choosing framing that matched the old film. Who knows. This is great work.
