Tumblr offers a variety of different tabs on your Dashboard, which you can scroll for different experiences. You can choose from: Following - The Dashboard you know and love, featuring posts from the blogs you follow , and any extras you may have included in your Dashboard preferences .

For you – Posts we think you’ll like from across all of Tumblr, including some that you haven’t seen yet from the folks you follow.
Click on “Settings” (the gear icon) from the left side menu. Select “Dashboard” from the right side menu. Turn off “Best stuff first.”. Turning off “Best Stuff First” will also remove “Since you’ve been gone” posts from your “Following” tab.
To return to the dashboard, click the X at the top of the screen. You’ll see the blog view anytime you navigate to a blog from the dashboard, search results, the explore page, or its web address at http://www.tumblr.com/staff .
