Tumblr offers a variety of different tabs on your Dashboard, which you can scroll for different experiences. You can choose from: Following - The Dashboard you know and love, featuring posts from the blogs you follow, and any extras you may have included in your Dashboard preferences.
On web, head to your dashboard settings or: Click on “Settings” (the gear icon) from the left side menu. Select “Dashboard” from the right side menu. Turn off “Best stuff first.”. Turning off “Best Stuff First” will also remove “Since you’ve been gone” posts from your “Following” tab.

Search & Tag Pages on Web. From the dashboard, put your cursor in the search field. Doing so will reveal a dropdown with your followed tags. Check out our article about following tags here. Type the word or phrase you’d like to browse and you’ll see the options in the dropdown change.
Aug 17, 2012 · To get to Preferences, click the gear wheel icon in the top, right-hand area of your Dashboard or visit https://tumblr.com/preferences. This is where you can edit your email address, change your password, choose your post editor, and make changes to how your Dashboard displays things.
