  1. Hi Redditors! I’ve been building SimplePDF.eu on my free time for a little over 3 years to do the simple things (and more): Adding text, checkboxes, pictures, signatures. Adding, deleting, rotating pages. Filling out forms. The PDF editor is completely free and does not require an account to be used.

LibreOffice Draw - editor (Windows/Mac/Linux). Good for more involved editing; moderately difficult. Gimp - editor (Windows/Mac/Linux).

On the liteware side, just for speed and some of the great speed features, I like PDFXChange. I generally recommend against Adobe PDF, free or commercial. 3. redchrism.

  4. Page deletion is one of the items on their not-free list. It never bothered me as there are many free tools such as PDFtk Builder or PDF Arranger that do that (these are in the category of PDF processors, not editors). The free version PDF X-Change Editor can be thought of as an annotator.

  7. May 28, 2022 · For adding extra notes, you won't need an extra PDF editor. Any PDF Viewer with annotation feature should work. Adobe Reader, Okular, SumatraPDF, they all have pretty good annotation features. They are just in terms of technic und usage maybe a bit different, some prefer it that way, others this way etc. You can still get an Editor of course.
